Position Information:
The Financial Specialist is responsible for the reviewing and validating over and under payments identified within EPIC contract management system as it relates to Managed Care and commercial payor accounts. The specialist is involved with the data gathering, financial modeling and creating ad hoc financial reports using multiple database systems for the Managed Care department. The financial models and reports will be used for the contract negotiations, auditing purposes, and validating claim payments to help assist senior level leadership in the decision making process.
Experience Requirements:
2 Years Accounting/Finance - Collections And 1 Year Accounting/Finance - Third Party Payors And 2 Years Healthcare Required - And Managed Care Contracting And Medical Insurance Plans Preferred
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Finance Or Business Administration With College Courses Accounting Required - And Medical Terminology Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
EPIC Certification in Area of Responsibility Preferred
