The BE/BC Area Medical Director- Hospice Services will provide strategic and clinical leadership to will ensure high-quality, patient-centered hospice care and support the continued growth and excellence of our hospice program in the Treasure Valley. This role will be based in our Portico North, Meridian, ID Hospice Offices.

What to Expect:

You will be a vital leader within St. Luke's, responsible for providing medical oversight and guiding hospice services' performance, quality, and regional direction. This is an incredible opportunity to collaborate with an outstanding team to develop a better regional approach to Hospice Services at St. Luke's.

This position serves a dual role:

• Clinical Leadership: Involves certification of terminal illness, interdisciplinary team support, clinical guidance, and provider collaboration.
• Strategic Oversight: Encompasses responsibility for quality outcomes, compliance, strategic planning, operations, financial stewardship, and alignment with organizational priorities.
• Lead IDGs for Treasure Valley / McCall, ID team, and partner with McCall, ID hospice physician when needed.
• CTIs need to be completed promptly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Background in hospice
• Hospice Medical Director Board Certification
• Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care
