The Physician (Assistant Chief) of Surgery assist with assuring that all patient care/procedures are performed responsibly in a safe, cost efficient and customer friendly work environment by providing the overall direction of the program, receiving and reviewing data/reports on tracking and trending of issues and workgroup reports that could effect that goal, and obtaining and distributing important standard of care or external review standards and directives to needed workgroups.
