Froedtert Health seeks a forward thinking information security leader for the position of Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. This growth includes a merger with ThedaCare, finalized on January 1, 2024, forming an 18-hospital system.
The Deputy CISO reports to the Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer and will be tasked with building a cohesive information security culture and program following Froedtert's merger with ThedaCare. In partnership with the CISO, the Deputy CISO will support the administrative, clinical, academic, and research functions of Froedtert Health. Major initiatives will include building out a robust operations program, including Identity Access Management, Security Operations Center, tools and other areas. The Deputy CISO will be a key leader in establishing a robust information security program that effectively protects the growing health system's information assets and aligns with its mission and goals. They will conduct a thorough assessment of current information security tools and will help in creating a high-performing team. The Deputy CISO will be an active and visible leader at all levels of the health system and will partner extensively with leaders and members of the IT organization in order to obtain their goals. They will also establish clear and appropriate processes, metrics, and KPIs that effectively support the IT security program.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced information security leader who is also customer-focused and relational, able to build strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise. This leader will have a proven track record successfully managing information security in a complex health system. They must be a consensus-driven leader and be able to translate complex technical information into layman's terms.
This leader may work remotely with the understanding that there will be occasional travel to its offices in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
