The Director of Risk Management is responsible for maintaining a strategic yet responsive approach to the Division’s risk management activities, focusing on developing, planning, coordinating, and administering a systematic program designed to reduce risk and injury. This position is In-person and located in Center City Philadelphia, PA.
This position manages, analyzes, and shares risk management data and develops and conducts risk management education programs. They lead a team responsible for assisting claims department activities, assisting defense counsel in discovery, providing information for insurance renewal, complying with risk management-related standards by TJC other accrediting and regulatory agencies and, promoting patient safety, enhancing quality care, and minimizing loss to protect the assets of the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field. Master's degree preferred.
Seven years of experience with progressively responsible experience in hospital risk management, including budgeting, staffing, and supervision of personnel or equivalent
