Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is searching for an additional neurologist/epileptologist with expertise in medical directorship of an epilepsy surgery program or leadership of an epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) to join our three current epilepsy neurologists in our busy academic practice. A leadership position as either medical director of our epilepsy surgery program or directorship of the EMU is possible depending on qualifications and specific interests.

Lehigh Valley Fleming Neuroscience Institute helps ensure patients have access to the Neuroscience Institute's services, resources and expertise and our team-based, patient-centric approach. Practice Overview:
LVHN has been recognized by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers as a Level 3 Epilepsy Center since 2010 and is actively working towards a Level 4 designation as a Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. The Center's multidisciplinary team includes neurologists with fellowship training in epilepsy, a fellowship trained functional neurosurgeon, neuropsychologists, social worker, and epilepsy-experienced advanced practice professionals and nursing staff. Our active Epilepsy Center at LVHN has evolved in the recent years and has been recognized as a regional referral center for the diagnosis and management of epilepsy across its spectrum.
LVHN has a four-bed dedicated 24/7 EMU and performs long term video EEG monitoring (LTME). Our 14 bed neurointensive care unit has complete LTME capability. Onsite and remote review is available throughout the network. Our neurologists provide EEG reading services to our other facilities within our extensive regional network, and read over 8,000 studies a year, including 1,300 long-term monitoring studies
The LVHN EEG lab is American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET) accredited and has developed an on-site EEG technologists training program. This program is recognized as an educational program through ABRET and upon completion, trainees are eligible for EEG registration. Staff includes an EEG certified Lab Manager, EEG certified Lab Educator, and a large team of certified EEG Technologists.

- A network champion for Neurology and a passion for the clinical work
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- A current PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
