MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced Medical Oncology Medical Director to join and lead a strong and well-established cancer program in the Pacific Northwest, MultiCare Regional Cancer Center (MRCC). This is a full-time medical director generalist position primarily located at our main cancer center within Tacoma General Hospital with satellite coverage at our center in Gig Harbor 1-2 half days per week. MRCC is a multi-disciplinary cancer center with a comprehensive oncology team including 3 radiation oncologists, 14 medical oncologists, 2 breast surgeons, 2 gynecologic oncologists, and 13 advanced practice providers. Accreditations include Apex, CoC and NAPBC with NAPRC accreditation in process. Qualifications:
A minimum of one year experience in administrative management of a medical oncology department
Interested in building - increasing volumes, developing multi-disciplinary programs, new techniques/modalities, enrolling on clinical trials
Kind and have strong interpersonal skills
Board certified in medical oncology
Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
