Position Information:
The Neurosciences Program Manager is responsible for development, management, coordination and growth of Brain and Spine Health initiatives and related neurosciences programs, such as cerebrovascular, spine, neuro trauma, general neurology, neuro rehabilitation, etc. in order to support the continuum of care. Operates as key participant in the strategic planning process and employee management including identification and implementation of opportunities for growth while ensuring the employment of evidence-based practice per guidelines and recommendations. Serves as a liaison between the hospital and physician practices to develop, facilitate, and implement interdisciplinary policies, procedures, and quality improvement structures to monitor care consistent with national standards while embracing clinical excellence and safety. Works directly with the Executive Director of Neurosciences and reports to the Executive Director for Critical Care and Heart & Vascular Services with Heart Center Administration.
Experience Requirements:
5 Years Related Position Experience Required - And 2 Years Leadership Required - And 1 Year Program Development Preferred
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required - And Master's Degree Nursing Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Nurse Required - And Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse Preferred - Or Stroke Certified Registered Nurse Preferred
