MultiCare Health System is partnering with Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital (YVMH), that region's leading health care provider and Yakima's largest employer to grow their cancer program. We are seeking a full-time medical director to lead a strong and well-established program that has provided oncology care to the greater Yakima Valley for over 40 years. New physicians will work within a growing, multi-disciplinary team including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, oncologic proceduralists, and advanced practice providers. Ideal candidates will be instrumental in ensuring high patient satisfaction and high value oncology care. There is an opportunity for research and being a principal investigator. Responsibilities include:
Lead efforts to continually improve the delivery and value of oncology services;
Ensure operational excellence through achievement of organizational metrics; Round on staff and providers at NSL to foster multidisciplinary team environment;
Oversee on-site Oncology Infusion Center;
Direct involvement in all phases of clinical trials;
ssist in strategic planning, business development, marketing and oncology services development What we have to offer:

Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology
3 years of practice experience
Graduate of an accredited medical school, residency and fellowship
Licensure to practice medicine in Washington State at time of employment
DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
