Campus Chief of Surgery, Riddle Hospital, Main Line Health System
Riddle Hospital is seeking a dynamic Campus Chief of Surgery to partner with Campus Chief of Anesthesiology and Director of Nursing to oversee the professional and clinical operations of surgical services. The triadic leadership team will ensure that uniform and excellent standards of care are met, operating room efficiencies are optimized and systemwide surgical services initiatives are implemented. The Campus Chief of Surgery works in close partnership with the Campus Vice President of Medical Affairs and under the direction of the MLH Chairman of Surgery to assess the clinical practice of surgery at Riddle and identify needs on the Campus. The Chief will facilitate resolution of operational issues as well as support undergraduate and graduate surgical education. The Chief will maintain a clinical practice with call responsibilities; the administrative duties are a 25 % appointment.
Applicants must be board certified. We are seeking a surgeon with expertise in general, colorectal or oncology surgery; minimally invasive skills including robotics are essential. In addition to clinical excellence, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication, organization and relationship building skills. The physician will be employed by Main Line HealthCare, a network of multi-specialty physician practices.
