Join a mission-driven organization in a highly flexible role as a full-time Medical Director Hospitalist for the Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna, California. This role is split between clinical and administrative duties with 11 shifts per month working as a Hospitalist and 20 to 30 hours a month dedicated towards Medical Director responsibilities. The ideal candidate will not necessarily have prior Medical Director experience, but will have prior leadership experience, hospitalist experience, good project management skills and the ability and eagerness to lead physician teams while being involved in program improvement. The facility you will be at has 25 beds and an open ICU with beds where providers can expect to treat a large variety of cases including sepsis, euro sepsis, heart failure, alcohol withdrawal, cellulitis, and more. - Mix of clinical and administrative duties
- 11 Hospitalist shifts per month; shifts are 12-hours and run 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- No call responsibilities
- Non-invasive ventilation management is required
- Open to H1-B and J1 visas
- Must be a board-certified/board-eligible physician
- Compensation is between $139.36 and $177.32 per hour
- The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
