The Senior Collaboration Administrator leads implementation and management of the Microsoft 365 system and infrastructure components for mission-critical computing environments. Responsible for the design, installation and support of the communications and collaboration systems. Provides high level support for Microsoft 365 administration, configuration management, monitoring and capacity planning. Designs and builds solutions to support business environment. Recommends, develops, and enforces policies and procedures for maintaining the security and integrity of the services. Researches and recommends current and future technologies based on feasibility and performance enhancements. Ensures smooth integration with other systems within the environment. Implements large/multiple development projects. (Note: this role is available for remote employment in most areas of the US)

Provides training and guidance to junior team members and end-users on Microsoft 365 technologies.
Provides subject matter expertise on Microsoft 365 technologies: Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Teams phone system, and Azure AD.
Stays current with new features and capabilities of Microsoft 365 and provides recommendations for adoption.

SERVER ADMINISTRATION (ADVANCED): Demonstrates high levels of expertise in applying the skill in challenging and complex situations. Often takes a lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to achieve results. Actively participates in outside professional organizations and forums.
SERVER CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT (INTERMEDIATE): Demonstrates mastery in configuration management. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering services using advanced configuration tools with minimal support and direction from others. Assists with the installation and implementation of configuration management tools. Manages changes made to hardware, software, firmware, documentation, test, test fixtures and test documentation of an automated information system throughout the development and operational life of a system or network. Participates in the development of the Company's configuration management plan.
SERVER INSTALLATION AND UPGRADE (INTERMEDIATE): Has the ability to install software using vendor-supplied and company-developed procedures. Demonstrates the ability to use core utility programs in the installation and maintenance of systems. Demonstrates the ability to quickly analyze and resolve problems that may arise during a software installation. Demonstrates the ability to create and use complex utility programs to facilitate software installations.
SERVER MONITORING AND TUNING (ADVANCED): Demonstrates high levels of expertise in applying performance metrics in challenging and complex situations regarding performance problems. Able to interpret performance information and make recommendations. Often takes a lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to achieve results and research metrics in new areas for potential use. Plans performance and stress tests.
SERVER SECURITY (INTERMEDIATE): Has extensive knowledge of the components of security and is able to install security products and systems. Able to describe security practices to users and management. Demonstrates mastery of security in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering security products and services without requiring support and instruction from others.
