The Director of Child Life is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of Child Life, Music Therapy and Facility Dog operations including setting strategic direction, ensuring effective interventions, allocating staff, creating, and managing budgets, and measuring impact. Director supervises team lead, all child life specialists, music therapists and facility dog handlers and maintains high employee engagement. Under the general supervision of the Corporate Director of Patient and Family Experience the director is responsible for developing and implementing evidenced- based developmentally appropriate interventions.
