CHAIR DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE Brigham and Women’s Hospital
Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking an academic and clinical leader to serve as the chair of the Department of Medicine and hold an academic appointment as Associate or Full Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
This individual will be responsible for the full scope of clinical, research and educational activities of the department as well as collaborative activities with other departments, the Mass General Brigham System, Harvard Medical School, and other affiliated institutions.
Candidates will possess effective leadership, managerial and collaborative skills, with significant academic accomplishments in medicine. Candidates should have a clear vision for achieving excellence in clinical care, research, and teaching, in order to lead a complex and successful department to even higher levels of excellence.
