The role you’ll contribute:
The Strategic Transaction Senior Program Manager (STSPM) manages a portfolio of strategic deals from ideation to implementation using Central Florida Division (CFD) Strategic Deal Flow System (SDF). STSPM provides support to deal owners to develop the business rational and validate the opportunity providing deal expertise across strategic, business, financial, legal, and clinical dimensions as required. STSPM is the catalyst to assure that "go or no go" decisions are made on opportunities presented to the organization. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Supports crafting of deals from Lead stage to Execution stage. Manages all elements of the deal making process from initial assessment, business case development, go / no go decision, in-depth due diligence and validation of findings, formulation of implementation plan and handoff to implementation team. Responsible for driving consistent, standardized and timely work up of deals by engaging stakeholders and following a structure process.
Manages portfolio of multiple deals throughout the deal flow sequence. Responsible for following a structured playbook/process, ensure timely communication and executes it in a timely manner and provides input on opportunity for improvement of the process as needed.
Awareness of federal and state health care laws and regulations, including federal and state anti-kickback statutes, the Stark Law, HIPAA, the Civil Monetary Penalties Law, pertaining to transactions.
Awareness of business implications of not-for-profit tax law for business transactions. Awareness of risk management factors for business transactions
Manage a yearly portfolio of up to 7 deals that could range in value of up to $50M+ million with cycles of 10 months to 12 months.
Responsible for assembling of all financial elements associated with a deal. Ability to develop initial analysis, proforma, and ROI modeling for initial deal assessment. Collaborates with financial expert to validate findings.
Develops the core elements of a business case guided by the deal owner to support strategic decision-making process, drawing from industry knowledge, interdisciplinary team members, and Subject matter experts. Assesses, projects and communicates positive or negative impact of the deal against corporate strategy to Deal owner and team members.
Ensures alignment of transactions to organization's strategic objectives.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Three years of experience in business development
Experience in drafting business plans
Navigating inside of complex organizations
Experience in fast pace, high volume environments
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Experience in prior health care mergers, acquisitions or partnering.
