JOB SUMMARY: Talent and Diversity is responsible for planning, developing, and leading talent and diversity strategy at Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH), which includes talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, talent development, organizational design, succession planning, talent readiness, workforce planning, and other talent and diversity solutions. Reporting to the Chief Human Resource Officer, the SVP of Talent and Diversity will lead the design and implementation of innovative and transformational talent acquisition, diversity, and talent management strategies, programs, processes, and operational tools. The leader will oversee organization-wide diversity initiatives that foster a workplace environment grounded in inclusion, equity, belonging, growth, development, and engagement and will ensure talent and diversity programs and initiatives are aligned to impact best-in-healthcare employee experiences, business results, and BSWH goals and objectives. They will focus on developing, implementing, and administering large-scale, system-wide talent acquisition and management processes, tools, programs, and metrics and will direct and oversee the design and development of talent and diversity initiatives that make the best use of the organization’s human capital and maximizes the return on talent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Serves as most senior leader of Talent and Diversity for BSWH and its affiliates. - Develops and implements a comprehensive talent and diversity strategy that attracts, engages, and retains the best talent and differentiates BSWH in the healthcare industry and the marketplace. - Advances the symbiotic relationship, programs, processes and policies between talent acquisition, talent management and diversity, hardwiring the alignment between these areas to a future state where these are integrated work streams. - Develops and delivers a company-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion roadmap with a focus on achieving measurable and sustainable results. - Collaborates with senior business leaders to translate system-wide hiring and staffing projections into overall talent acquisition strategies and plans for BSWH. - Oversees the creation and ongoing management and analysis of the talent pipeline that reduces time-to-hire, strengthens the candidate pool, and improves the candidate experience. - Provides talent and diversity thought leadership to the senior leadership team and the organization by providing insight into data, key trends, impact of strategic initiatives, and core operational initiatives. - Evolves and scales talent management programs, including performance management, talent identification, succession planning, career management, and learning and development practices and initiatives. - Designs and supports key performance indicators (KPI’s) to measure and track talent and diversity results to ensure accountability and communicate progress to the organization. - Collaborates with the Chief Human Resources Officer and other senior leadership to ensure talent and diversity goals are incorporated into BSWH business objectives and all components of the employee life cycle. - Develops a talent and diversity advisory capability to deliver data and insights to senior leadership and the organization.
