The Epic Analytics Applications Manager s responsible for managing applications systems analysis and programming activities for established teams, ensuring that tasks are carried out in accordance with the work schedule and application development standards. He/she will assist respective IS Directors and/or leadership with understanding and implementing technical and process standards and supporting department budget planning and management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities of IT that includes staff assignments, daily activities, service desk, ticket management and IT relationships. Is responsible for all new and modified systems in their area of responsibility. Plans or oversees the analysis, design, programming, timely implementation, and testing of applications projects utilizing approved development methodologies. Provide training and guidance on information system operation. Participate in maintaining continuous improvement in the areas of project management, development, coding, debugging, testing, data services, process and application support and training. Oversee or perform the development and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with customers, employees, and support staff. Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems. Create project plans and provide time estimates for the iterations or phases of each project.
