The role you’ll contribute: Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The Department Chair manages the program including hiring, managing the department’s budget, overseeing accreditation requirements, representing the department at the institution level, and providing mentorship and leadership to staff and faculty. The Department Chair develops, designs, and delivers instruction in courses as needed. The Department Chair also participates in student advising and mentoring, and engages in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship, and research in balance with their administrative duties. The Department Chair reviews and assists with revisions as needed for department policies and procedures and identifies and recommends appropriate community agency linkages for student learning experiences.

Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Earned Doctoral
- Five years of clinical experience as a physician assistant
- Current Physician Assistant licensure in State of Florida
- Current NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certification
