Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Idaho is currently seeking an experienced trauma/acute care medical director. Must be a board certified general surgeon with a fellowship in trauma and acute care highly preferred.
This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate and driven physician looking to help us build a regional trauma system, a key strategic priority for the health system. Leader will be supported by a high level of administrative leadership backing and resourcing to be successful. This is a full time position with anticipated 50/50 administrative/clinical split but could vary as needed. A typical monthly schedule would consist of six 12-hour hospital shifts and two clinic days per month.
While based in Treasure Valley, the trauma/acute care medical director will provide oversight of our entire health system to include four full service hospitals as well as our four critical access facilities covering Central and Southern Idaho, as well as a very large catchment area to include Idaho, Northern Nevada and Eastern Oregon.
