Job Summary:

The Manager of Digital Health is responsible for ensuring the success of a program that involves a group of related projects, subprograms, and program activities. The Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other departments to help further Baylor Scott & White Health strategic initiatives. There will be a heavy emphasis on problem solving capabilities (e.g. gather market research on best practice, identify root cause behind issues, connect with industry leaders to validate assumptions, and right-to-left thinking). The Manager will mentor Program Managers, Team Leads, and other project resources to aid in the professional development and perform HR duties where appropriate.

Below are the essential functions for the role.

• Conduct all Human Resource related activities inclusive of interviews, supervision, performance evaluations, development, coaching, feedback, reward, recognition, scheduling, leave, policy and procedure.

• Collaborate with and leads client executive teams to establish a process towards the identification of problems/opportunities from a Digital Innovation perspective.

• Utilize both traditional and modern assessment tools, such as interviews, surveys, and evaluations to arrive at hypothesis, conclusions, and relay findings to executive leadership team and individuals.

• Provide advice or suggestions for improvements that meet customer and digital health objectives.

• Manage pillar portfolio project and program and establish/track pillar budget, drive long-term planning and strategic pillar improvements and strategies with oversight from Vice President.

• Assist MC with project escalations and problem solving as needed.

• Own assorted departmental responsibilities as assigned (i.e. contract management, staffing and resourcing).

The ideal candidate must have the ability to establish external relationships with other thought leaders in Digital Health and have an understanding of interdependencies of healthcare landscape and its influence on portfolio is essential for the role. The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal, written, communication, and problem solving skills and experience in journey map exercises.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION - Bachelors or Equivalent Exp
• EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 5 years experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Technical Field:

MIS, Computer Science, Journalism, Marketing or related field.

EXPERIENCE: 

• Enterprise Content Management System (CMS) solution, Sitecore preferred
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Proven track record of website performance improvements
