Managing Clinical Transformation Consultant

The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health is seeking a Managing Clinical Transformation Consultant to join us at our Mullica Hill, NJ location. You will be joining a team of high-performing internal consultants who act as strategic advisors and partners to Inspira Health’s leadership team in support of operational and clinical excellence and continuous improvement. We will rely on you to:
- Assist with clinical process innovation and continuous performance improvement initiatives across the organization
- Leverage clinical expertise in combination with performance improvement methodologies to facilitate meetings and work sessions that identify and scope operational and business challenges, and to develop data-driven recommendations that drive operational efficiencies
- Work collaboratively with clinical and nonclinical leadership and frontline stakeholders at all Inspira locations to achieve enterprise-wide consistency in areas such as care delivery and documentation, improvements in care efficiency and quality of care of outcomes, optimization in cost of care and advances in patient and staff engagement and satisfaction
- Apply change management skills to instill ownership and ensure permanent adoption and success of improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a clinical area (BSN preferred)
- 5+ years of clinical experience; 2 years of experience in Clinical Informatics in a managerial or leadership position preferred
- BLS and certification in Clinical Informatics preferred; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified or obtained within 6 months of hire
- Knowledge and experience with continuous performance and process improvement initiatives, including project and change management
- Proficiency at interpreting data trends, patterns and gaps for directional storytelling and performance improvement
- Experience with data visualization and translating data
- Experience with clinical technology, including as system subject matter expert or project manager for installation
- Cerner Clinical applications experience preferred, as well as knowledge of trends and advances in the field of Healthcare Informatics
- Ability to work with and influence staff across all levels of the organization to support lasting improvements
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio
- This is a hybrid position that may require travel to Inspira locations in the Southern New Jersey region
