Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE General Neurologist to join its multidisciplinary Neuroscience Institute. 

Job Duties

Join a team of trained neurologist

·           Benefit from the availability of 30 general and sub-specialty trained neurologists system-wide

·           Enjoy a practice with a strong referral base

·           Research opportunities exist at The Center for Health Research, the Weis Center for Research, and the Center for Clinical Studies

·           Teaching opportunities exist with 4 neurology residents per year

Geisinger's Neuroscience Institute spans Geisinger's three main campuses in Danville, Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, along with locations in Harrisburg, State College and Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Our program includes most neurology and neurosurgery subspecialties along with neurology and neurosurgery residency programs.  Geisinger has a specific focus on quality not quantity and developing new management pathways for optimal outcomes. 

Position Details

GEISINGER MEDICAL GROUP (GMG) consists of 43 community practice sites throughout our service area. These office locations provide primary and specialty care. In conjunction with Geisinger Health Plan, the Medical Groups staff offers their own unique version of medical home.

Education

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)

Experience

Certification(s) and License(s)

Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
