The Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations for Tenetâ��s acute hospitals is responsible for managing and providing oversight of the supply chain activities for the organization. This will include contract administration and service line support for reporting, data Management, and EDI. This includes coordinating and the implementation of supply expense initiatives, leading and coordinating the corporate contracting/GPO process. Directing and maintaining all supply chain analysis, metrics, and initiative savings tracking. Managing and providing oversight to all content maintained within MMIS systems within Supply Chain. Overseeing and coordinating all EDI and data interfaces with 3rd party vendors. Leading and managing all savings initiatives, conversions, and implementations in all hospital facilities. Serves as a member of the supply chain leadership team. Responsible for the management and delivery of special projects as assigned (i.e., COVID-19 pandemic response team member and related activities). Acts as liaison to GPO partner and coordinates with GPO representatives to advance Tenetâ��s savings programs. Serves on GPO advisory board.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct and manage all supply chain operations in the areas of data management, EDI, security/systems, reporting/analytics, contract administration and service line support.
Provide direction, coordination, and execution for all supply expense reduction initiatives for Tenet, GPO, and vendors.
Directs and coordinate all supply chain analysis, metrics and initiative savings tracking to include the Tenet workplan and various measurement/decision documents.
Manages and provides oversight to all content maintained within the Tenet MMIS systems within supply chain.
Direct and oversee 3rd party vendor contracts, service and day to day operations (GHX, Novus, HealthTrust) to include data feeds and workflow
Direct and oversee the contract management and rostering process to include LOCâ��s LOPâ��s, Tenet Custom, Strategic Sourcing, amendments, etc.
Manages and executes the Consignment Process for Tenet
Direct, oversee all SC Systems Security to include HT, REACH, Sharepoint,etc
Oversee all savings initiatives, conversions and implementations in all hospital facilities and serve as a resource.
At least 10 years of overall supply chain and procurement experience in the healthcare industry, preferably for a large health system.
Advance experience and knowledge of managing supply chain operations, including areas of contracting, sourcing, value analysis, MMIS/EDI, and vendor negotiations/ relations.
Knowledge of database management, MMIS/ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel required.
Project Management skills are critical with the ability to manage many projects with changing priorities.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Organizational skills, prioritization and flexibility is also important.
A Bachelorâ��s degree in healthcare management, supply chain, or business area is required.
