You Will Be Responsible For:
Assures that all contract(s) updates for products used by AH are loaded in the MM/MA database, and that the data is maintained to standards. Tracks contract expiration dates (through a log) and works with Buyers, Clinical Resource Managers, Premier, and/or vendors to load pricing prior to expiration date.
Continuously audits and manages the database to ensure data integrity and to facilitate the extraction and interpretation of information. Counsels end users to make appropriate modifications regarding pricing modifications, category, and GL class.
Works with Buyers to identify price discrepancies and strive for zero discrepancies. Performs audits of invoices against database and when necessary initiates the recovery of overpayments.
Extracts information from the database through writing and modifying queries. Performs analysis presenting actionable information and data and makes recommendations to support the decision making process. Compiles and analyzes MM/MA raw data and presents it in a way that is easy to understand and aids in the decision making process.
Organizes MPC categories in a logical manner that facilitates report writing and queries, the flow of charges to post to correct GL sub accounts, enhance patient price file maintenance, and other system interfaces used by Cath Lab, Surgery, etc.
What Will You Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelorâ™s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other analytical discipline, OR
Three to five years of relevant experience

Bachelorâ™s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other analytical discipline
The System Support Analyst makes decisions that maintain and support the accuracy of the MM/MA system data. Supports the process of obtaining and updating data directly from vendors in a manner that is synchronized with the vendorâ™s information/database to assure invoice discrepancies are minimal. Responsible for all the vendor catalogs that have been requested, received, and completed throughout a maintenance of a log. Keeps up to date with knowledge regarding use of tools i.e. Premier (GPO), ARC (AHS share point), Medapproved (VA tool), DDS and Compass (benchmarking tools) among others. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
