Reporting to the COO and working with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and other members of the executive staff, the Senior Vice President & CAO Physician Practice & CEO PCHA is responsible for the development, implementation and management of a network of hospital and physician relationships. In addition to hospital partners the Senior Vice President & CAO Physician Practice & CEO PCHA has a similar role for the development and management of the new Stanford Children's Health community physician network and Foundation.

Works with the CSO and staff to develop the appropriate agreements, contracts, and business plans to secure long term relationships with identified hospital partners.
During the development of these agreements and business plans the CSO will be the lead executive. Once the agreements are in place the Senior Vice President & CAO Physician Practice & CEO PCHA will assume primary responsibility for executing the agreements and plans and for managing the relationships on behalf of SCH.
These are complex agreements and relationships which require the ongoing involvement of the CSO and other members of the executive staff.
Therefore the Senior Vice President & CAO Physician Practice & CEO PCHA is responsible for engaging appropriate members of the executive staff based on the needs of the partners.
Works with the CSO, CAO of the SCH FPO, and the SHC Executive Director, Physicians Network Development the VP will assist in the development of the proposed new community physician network and Foundation.
Once the network and Foundation is established, and working with the SHC Executive Director, Physicians Network Development, the Senior Vice President & CAO Physician Practice & CEO PCHA will have overall responsibility for the management and growth of the network and Foundation.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Master's degree in a related field from an accredited University.
Experience: Ten (10) years experience in program development, physician relations, hospital operations, and business development to assist the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer with the development and management of the hospital and physician network.
