Job Responsibilities: The Risk Director is responsible for the clinical risk management activities at assigned facility or area of responsibility, including, but not limited to, assisting in the management of liability claims against NHC entities or employees, facilitating problem identification and resolution process through appropriate investigation and analysis of adverse events and system design, analyzing occurrence reporting and cause analysis data, conducting risk management education programs for managers and staff, and promoting Joint Commission and other patient safety standards, all with the objective of controlling and minimizing loss to protect the assets of the organization and promote optimum levels of patient safety and quality service in the delivery of healthcare.
