Tier II Shared Services Center Benefits Specialist

The Tier II Benefits Specialist serves as the point of contact for the Shared Service Center (SSC) within their area or specialty or assignment. The Benefits Specialist is responsible for receiving, routing, resolving, and properly closing all Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) HR inquiries within their specialty or assignment in an accurate and timely manner. The Benefits Specialist partners with their Managers to regularly review performance outcomes against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); identify areas of individual and team professional development. The role interacts cross functionally with SSC, Centers of Expertise (COEs) and HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and various departments within BSWH to ensure handoffs, communication and interactions are customer focused, seamless and delivered with high quality.

The ideal candidate for the Tier II Benefit Specialist role will have excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build strong cross functional relationships and interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
