Full Time Days; Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Lead and complete projects; provide significant analytical input into the strategy and scope of projects;
Effectively collects, analyzes, and creates solutions to report data;
Assist in the preparation of month end financial statements as needed i.e. (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, P & L, etc.)
Report building for the presentation of financial information
Manage special projects, conduct complex studies on wide-ranging subjects and become subject matter expert within compacted project life cycles;
Perform routine audits to ensure data integrity in all reports
Focuses on process improvement strategies with special focus on financial outcomes in support of department and process initiatives
Assists in annual hospital budget and works with directors in completing departmental budgets
Performs other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
Ability to coordinate projects related to developing financial information for decision making
Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint
Advance knowledge of Excel (Pivots and Macros)
Ability to deal with data that is of a sensitive and confidential nature
Strong emphasis on organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Able to take initiative to solve issues
Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
5 years working in data analytics, financial analysis or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related
Two years of related experience OR Master’s Degree in business administration or related field
The Lead Financial Analyst interacts with senior management and department directors to provide relevant, accurate, and timely financial information, they work independently and applies experience, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Performs research, collects data, and skillfully organizes and presents the analysis to management in written or oral format. Exercises objective, independent judgement in developing financial recommendations for management. Serves as a liaison to department directors in financial matters. Develops and trains staff in analyzing and organizing information into a coherent report, and to recommend and implement solutions based on this analysis; subject to the approval of management. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Character traits include strong work ethic, self-sufficient, trainability, communicative, team player, and a positive “can do” attitude.
