GHS is a physician-led health system with a history of excellence in care, experience, outcomes and research. The COO is accountable for the clinical operational performance and will focus on optimal balance between functional/line management and matrix/service line management. This senior leadership team member will be looked upon to harness, connect and empower the collective expertise in the organization to ensure exceptional performance across all clinical operations. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the COO ensures that operations support the mission, goals and objectives of GHS. The COO maintains responsible budgeting, reporting and monitoring of results to ensure the financial integrity of the organization and takes a leadership role in facilitating changes to enhance outcomes and efficiency. The COO also collaborates with external partners including in the community, local and state governments and will represent GHS across the nation with other peer organizations.
