Clinical Analyst I

Summary:

A. Collaborate closely with Clinic Operations Staff, Health IT, Quality and Population Health teams

• • Develop an understanding of current clinical workflows and variations in those workflows as they relate to clinical quality programs
  • Advise in the development of standard clinical workflows to support capturing data for clinical quality measures and closing care gaps. These workflows must support efficient patient care with minimal burden on clinical staff.

B. Collaborate with the Training Team

• • Ensure that new users receive training on standard clinical workflows related to their area of responsibility
  • Ensure that training updates include information related to changes in standard clinical workflows

C. Develop expert knowledge of quality measure specifications related to value-based contracts and other incentive programs

D. Provide clinical expertise in interpreting measure specifications

E. Work with HP analysts to ensure that the metric logic in Healthy Planet accurately reflects the measure specifications

F. Work with various analysts to validate quality reports and dashboards

• • Validate reports using patient/encounter level data with manual record review

Requirements:

• High technical user of Excel and interpreting basic logic statements (and, or, not, <,>, =)
• Preferred experience in quality metric validation â€" in a clinic or hospital setting or committee
