NCQA is conducting a nationwide search to add a new member to their Leadership Team.
The Vice President of the Quality Solutions Group will: •Grow, diversify, and manage NCQA’s portfolio of contracted and grant-funded work to generate $25M+ in annual revenue.
• Lead development and execution of a broad business strategy to expand NCQA’s offerings, particularly in the digital quality space.
• Build business and strategic relationships with new federal, state, private (non-profit and for-profit), foundation and commercial entities.
Business Development: Build pipeline to achieve NCQA revenue and portfolio growth objectives. Network with key contacts from state and federal governments, consulting firms, foundations, large employers, professional societies, and other health care industry sectors to establish useful relationships or to obtain information leading to NCQA business opportunities. Ensure establishment of function to systematically canvass for publicly announced business opportunities. Oversee proposal development and associated quality control processes.
Strategy Development & Implementation: Lead development and execution of a broad business strategy to expand NCQA’s offerings, particularly in the digital quality space. Identify market opportunities and build organizational capabilities to address.
General management: Align resources to effectively meet business needs. Provide oversight for all QSG-wide budgetary and human resource concerns. Ensure appropriate infrastructure and processes to support business development, contract management and associated quality control processes.
Serve as a member of NCQA’s Leadership Team. Provide input and support for strategic discussions, planning, and decision-making.
Involved in setting organizational priorities for resources in support of both the strategic and annual business plan.
Education and Skillset Required:
Master’s degree in public health, health administration, health policy, business administration, information technology or equivalent.
10 years of business development experience, with demonstrated success growing a contracting, consulting, or services portfolio in the health care field.
5 years’ experience in technology, digital solutions, or informatics.
Experience with strategic planning and demonstrated success in securing and expanding on extensive private and public sector contract portfolios.
Highly entrepreneurial, able to envision and promote business opportunities compatible with organization’s mission and vision.
Excellent skills at networking, cultivating new relationships, public speaking, organizational skills as demonstrated by negotiating multifaceted projects in complex organizations.
Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to function in minimally supervised environment.
