ChristianaCare is currently seeking a Research Coordinator for the Research Cancer Psychology department within the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center. In this position the selected individua will coordinate an R01 research grant funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that will recruit early-stage breast cancer survivors and their partners for longitudinal data collection.
Provides all study related coordination.
Follows study protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Reviews patient eligibility (which will include electronic health record reviews) and obtains informed consent.
Maintains copies of all patient consent forms, quality control results, and reports for consented patients.
Completes regular reports, updates protocols/submits amendments, and fulfills other administrative requirements for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Institutional Review Board (IRB), and the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP).
Collects data, performs data entry, maintenance, organization and retrieval of data.
Requirements: Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred, but will consider experience. Minimum of two years research experience required, with specific experience in coordinating grants funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) strongly preferred. Phlebotomy skills and/or willingness to be trained in phlebotomy preferred. Fluent in Spanish a preferred. Experience with REDCap preferred. Experience with processing of blood and tissue samples preferred.
This position is grant funded and the duration of the position is limited to the time of the grant.
