Finally, in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Clinical Affairs Officer, the incumbent will serve as a leader in driving Clinical Transformation; a comprehensive inter-disciplinary approach to achieve care delivery excellence throughout the patient care continuum that measurably improves quality, creates holistic, patient centered care experiences, and reduces healthcare costs by reducing waste and optimizing the value proposition. About Bon Secours Mercy Health
On September 1, 2018 Bon Secours Health System and Mercy Health combined to become the United States’ fifth largest Catholic health care ministry and one of the nation’s 20 largest health care systems. Bon Secours Mercy Health serves communities across seven states and Ireland.
With 48 hospitals, thousands of providers, over 1,000 points of care and over 60,000 employees across 7 states and two countries, Bon Secours Mercy Health is one of the largest and strongest Catholic health care systems.
Our teams use research and innovation to change the health care landscape. Many of the latest technologies and best practices in health care grew from Bon Secours Mercy Health investments and pilots.
Our faith-based heritage fuels our focus to provide efficient and effective health care for each patient who comes through our doors. We strive to create a more humane world, build social justice for all and bring health and wholeness to those we so humbly serve.
Bon Secours Mercy Health’s Catholic health care heritage is directly linked to women religious who, in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, began ministries dedicated to serving people who are poor, underserved and dying.... It is in furthering their legacies that we embrace our calling to extend Jesus healing ministry through compassion and service. In the communities served by Bon Secours Mercy Health, we extend almost $2 million each day in care and programs to individuals and in support of entire communities.
At Bon Secours Mercy Health, we are dedicated to continually improving health care quality, safety and cost effectiveness. Our hospitals, care sites and clinicians are recognized for clinical and operational excellence. By utilizing robust measurement and reporting processes, we hold ourselves accountable for enhancing care and improving outcomes for our patients, residents and clients. Through partnerships and by investing in innovative processes, technology and products, we are continually striving to drive health care quality while reducing costs and in addressing health care issues facing entire communities (such as enhancing access to behavioral health care services and fighting opioid dependency).
