Reporting to the president of Wisconsin hospitals for Advocate Aurora Health, the president of Aurora Medical Center in Grafton will provide strategic direction and leadership for medical center operations while ensuring high-quality care, sound fiscal operations, and compliance. He or she will ensure that services and the overall patient experience are delivered in a manner consistent with Aurora’s service, financial, and operational initiatives.
Advocate Aurora develops detailed, initiative-specific annual growth plans that are prepared through collaborative work between business development, operations, medical group, and finance leaders for each of the system’s patient service areas. The plans are written according to clinical area of emphasis and can be further subdivided by individual business units, including hospitals. Cross-functional teams and individual leaders are held accountable for driving initiative actions that are measured by volume, revenue, and unique-patients-served metrics. While written with one-year metrics of performance, multi-year foundational initiatives are developed to ensure a pipeline of growth activity. Hospital presidents actively participate in the identification and execution of AAH’s growth plans.
