Job Summary: The Program Director, Musculoskeletal Services oversees operations across all regional LVPG departments that are part of the MSK division. These departments include orthopedics, rheumatology, and those that make up the advanced spine center (Physiatry, pain management and chiropractics). The Director will work with existing Program Director, Comprehensive Spine Center, Supervisors, Managers, and Directors within LVPG, providing supervision and direction of the delivery of comprehensive musculoskeletal services. This role supports the further acquisition and development and growth of comprehensive msk services. This position operates in a matrix structure with the primary reporting relationship to the Administrator, Musculoskeletal Division of LVPG and will work collaboratively with other Directors in the division of msk services to develop efficient and effective workflows, foster provider and staff engagement and collaboration, and create a culture of continuous process improvement. Geographic/regional responsibilities may vary across network depending on size of practices, number of providers and NPR as it relates to reporting structure.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree. Three years management experience required. Previous experience with metrics tracking and dashboards required. Demonstrates initiative and is able to function independently as well as collaboratively. Demonstrates the ability to initiate, accept, and adapt to change. Demonstrates time management and organizational skills. Accepts and recognizes differences among people. Excellent computer skills, including electronic medical record (EMR), word processing (Microsoft Word), PowerPoint, and Excel. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication skills, and mature emotional intelligence. Demonstrates project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or equivalent experience. MBA preferred. Experience in healthcare including experience in a physician office practice setting.
