This is an exceptional opportunity for a transformational healthcare leader to drive strategic, financial, and operational performance across the Operating Group.
The Group Vice President of Operations and Shared Services for the Greater Colorado & Kansas group will demonstrate proven abilities both as a strategic and operationally astute executive who can drill down to the detail necessary to execute service line initiatives, operational improvements, and pursue business development opportunities.
The Group Vice President of Operations and Shared Services is a complex role that serves multiple functions within the Operating Group. While the role directly reports into the Group President, there are a number of matrix reporting relationships. The role includes:
Service Line Leadership and Coordination: This executive will be partnered with the physician executive for the Operating Group, the dyad partners (clinical and administrative) representing each of the service lines, and local service line leadership. This person will be the liaison and operations lead for the Operating Group for all Service Line responsibilities.
Business Development and Growth: This executive will be the operational lead for growth and development representing the Operating Group. S/he will pursue business opportunities and new ventures to expand the Operating Group’s positions in the market, optimize service lines across the service areas, and enhance the overall financial performance of Centura Health.
Shared Services Alignment: This executive will partner closely with the SVP Shared Services and Operations and the individual hospitals in aligning the corporate objectives and goals for Shared Services including supply chain, nutrition services, construction, facilities management, security, environmental.
Operations: This executive will partner with each market within the Operating Group in planning to meet the 2025 Strategy. S/he will deploy system-aligned operational strategies at the local level.
The selected leader will possess the following:
Master's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Public Health or a related discipline is required.
A transformational leader with progressively responsible operational, strategy and business development senior management experience in a highly competitive healthcare market.
Experience with complex organizational structures is required - multi-institutional and health system experience is preferred.
Hospital operations experience in a C-suite role would be considered desirable.
Proven effectiveness in developing and implementing operational, strategy and business development plans with measurable results that enhance the organization's overall awareness, image and market share.
A track record of successfully positioning all programs and services, as well as interpreting and managing demographic, market, clinical and financial information and statistics.
Experience with alliances, partnerships and collaborations; experience negotiating complex transactions; demonstrated success in new business ventures.
Proven experience in managing system-led operational efficiency initiatives.
