Purpose of Position: To improve the quality of care provided at community health centers across California by coordinating training and technical assistance projects related to care delivery and emergency preparedness.
Administration of program grants and deliverables including coordination of projects, tracking of deadlines, facilitating activities, and convening the stakeholders needed to ensure that projects and products are of the highest quality.
Serve as a resource for membership in area of oral health, emergency preparedness and other clinically focused areas.
Coordinate the Clinic Emergency Preparedness Peer Network and Dental Directors Peer Network, including communicating with members, supporting work groups, and preparing content and presentations for meetings.
Lead in the coordination of workgroups including facilitating activities, communicating with members, supporting workgroups and preparing content and presentations for meetings.
Write, edit, and coordinate development of guidelines, course descriptions, educational materials, training manuals, newsletter articles and memos as appropriate.
Coordinate and conduct trainings and provide technical assistance on relevant topics.
Provide technical assistance and disseminate resources to CHCs and regional consortia in their implementation of quality improvement work.
Work with regional consortia, Dental Directors, Emergency Preparedness Coordinators and interested member clinics to develop appropriate trainings.
Conduct research, develop reports and administer surveys; prepare scheduled and special reports; prepare information for grant reports; maintain program/project records and statistical information.
Represent the Association in related coalitions and partnerships meetings.
Attends and participates in all staff meetings of the Association.
Reports regularly to the Associate Director of Health Center Operations.
Participates in Association events and represents the Association as requested.
Other duties as assigned.

Travel up to 10% for national and regional meetings, training and site visits including driving an automobile and flying in an airplane.
