Spectrum Healthcare Partners has an exciting new opportunity! As the Senior Director of Finance, you will report directly to the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible to direct and coordinate all financial-related administrative activities in a multi-specialty physician, healthcare practice. Responsibilities include the timely and accurate delivery of key administrative financial services: financial reporting, Company and divisional budgeting, benefits and retirement plan support, cash management, payroll management, tax compliance, outside ventures support, and staff supervision.
Primary duties and responsibilities will include:
Maintain a solid accounting function of high integrity across the entire organization.
Responsible for the accurate and timely production and communication of monthly and quarterly financial reports for Spectrum Medical Group and all related entities.
Responsible for monthly and quarterly financial presentations for the CFO. Assists with various Divisional presentations of financial information.
Assist with and develops the key data points and information pertaining to the delivery of the Company’s annual budget.
Support the necessary approval processes for the annual company and divisional budget preparation.
Oversee the payroll process for all Company employees and physician shareholders.
Supports and delivers the quarterly calculation of physician bonuses; providing analyses for such at various practice management meetings in order to educate recipients.
Responsible for all cash management activities, including disbursements, reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
Oversee year-end financial close and work with outside accounting firm in preparation of the annual year-end review.
Co-ordinate all efforts related to ensuring compliance with Federal, State and local taxes.
Improve the analytical capability of the company.
Works to prepare pro-formas to evaluate financial aspects of new business opportunities and develops capital budgets, as needed.
Makes recommendations regarding financial feasibility of proposals and strategies.
Offers suggestions and provides direction in addressing financial concerns.
Advises Chief Financial Officer, senior administrative team, and various physician leadership groups on ad hoc financial matters.
Provides financial analysis and support for the company’s group benefits offerings as well as the retirement plan and other benefit plans.
Evaluates financial aspects of various vendor contracts and makes recommendations as necessary.
Serves as the primary financial contact for various SMG affiliated companies.
Assist senior managers and directors in identifying revenue enhancement or cost saving opportunities.
The ability to be a strategic business partner to Management and a strong leader for the finance function.
Administer special projects or other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
Mentor and develop the Finance Team.
