Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Manager \(1\.0, Days\) to work for the Emergency Services Department at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\.
The Clinical Manager is responsible for the direct planning, leading, organization and control of the Emergency Department, including staff development, implementation of standards, quality control measures, and for all clinical and operational activities of the unit\.
In this position you will:
Supervise the Emergency Department Staff
Direct the professional nursing care for patients in the assigned area
Active in rounds with patients to obtain insight into care provision and patient satisfaction
Establish strong rapport with physicians, staff and peers
Work with the manger to develop, implement, and monitor unit based quality improvement programs
Comply with established operational plan, staffing pattern and operating budget
Required qualifications for this position include:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing \(BSN\)
Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse \(RN\) in the State of Washington
Basic Life Support \(BLS\)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support \(ACLS\)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support \(PALS\)
Clinical Experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience as a Supervisor or Charge Registered Nurse
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Nursing
Certified Emergency Nurse \(CEN\)
