What VITAS Will Ask of You Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will:
Provide oversight and make recommendations to improve the organization’s core services
Focus specifically on the expansion of business lines, resource deployment and utilization, service delivery and profitability
Help enhance organizational standards and key performance indicators for areas including staffing ratios, scheduling, logistics and financial performance
Direct an internal team that reviews and monitors daily key performance indicators in support of business operations

To be successful in this role, your qualifications should include:
10+ years senior operations experience in a healthcare setting; hospice operations background strongly preferred
Experience with healthcare operations in multiple sites/states where a complex array of services is provided
Proven track record of helping to increase profitability, improve performance and implement process improvement in a comparably sized organization
Exceptional communication, multitasking and leadership skills
Prefer an advanced degree from an accredited college or university (or the international equivalent), such as a Master's or Bachelor's in business administration, healthcare administration or a related field.
