The PHC Information Technology Division supports our community-focused healthcare system with 18 primary care facilities, 3 hospitals, home health care, hospice services, long term care and senior residence communities, health and a fitness center. We have attained national recognition for our pioneering approach to business intelligence and population health management. We were the first system to use Epic’s Cogito data warehouse in a production environment which afforded our ACO a method for managing their population’s health. We have successfully attested for Stage 1 of meaningful use for our hospitals and physicians, as well as have attained Stage6 designation on the HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM). We continue to be a leader in providing effective technology in support of our organization’s healthcare strategies.
Hours: Monday - Friday normal business hours. This position also involves a 24/7 on call rotation.

The Microsoft Systems Engineer manages all aspects of the Microsoft environment, including design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security. The Microsoft Systems Engineer also provides strategic planning for current and future Microsoft infrastructure needs (3 to 5 years) and related documentation and technical specifications information; understanding ROI, TCO, total lifecycle management, disaster recovery, business continuity, redundancy, and resiliency.
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least 3, with 5 or more preferred, years of experience as an engineer with Microsoft server based products.
Strong dedication and focus on customer service with demonstrated customer service skills.
Expertise and experience in an enterprise environment, consisting of greater than 2500 client endpoints, greater than 250 servers, with an operational or service level agreement equal or greater than 99.9% uptime preferred.
Demonstrated experience in deployment, operations, and lifecycle management of core Microsoft based infrastructure products. Including, but not limited to: Microsoft DNS, DHCP, WINS, Active Directory, File Services, Print Services, Messaging (Exchange, Communications Server) Distributed File Services (DFS), DFS replication (DFSR), Microsoft Clustering Services under Server 2003 and Server 2008, Terminal Server Services, SharePoint Server, Project Server, Project Portfolio Server, Internet Information Server(IIS) 6.0-7.5, and SQL Server preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration & maintenance in an enterprise environment; Concentrations on Windows Server 2003 x86 and x64, Windows Server 2008 x86 and x64, including Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter Editions preferred.
Experience with Windows 2003 Server with Active Directory design, architecture, and administration preferred.
